Elizabeth is a normal teenager living in a small, remote, and broken down town with her despondent mother. Nothing exciting ever happens in Naoma; a town where life goes to die. Her mother, Kate, has never explained why she moved to this dilapidated town to raise Liz and her brother. Boredom is the everyday norm. The only good thing about this town is her best friend since childhood, Joel. Shortly after Liz and Joel take a routine bike ride to the center of town, the town square is over taken by an organization called FENCE. An announcement is made over the town's speakers for all children and parents to gather in the square immediately. What happens next will change Liz's life forever. Liz's true identity is about to be revealed. For 50 years FENCE was searching for the "one", and suddenly they found her.
