The book you hold in your hands is a compilation of moments that have become precious memories to so many whose lives have been impacted through the mission education groups, ministries, and mission projects of Alabama Woman's Missionary Union. During the past few months, I have found myself amused as I have spoken with many who have shared their desire to submit a memory; however, they just couldn't think of one until we began to talk and the memories began to flow. For truly, what is a memory except a moment when God captures our heart and seals it with an experience that changes us forever? Our greatest desire as we celebrate these 125 years of God's faithfulness is to give all the "glory" to our Heavenly Father. May the pages ahead stir your heart as you share in these memories, and may He challenge us to continue to invest in the lives of others for the cause of missions. May He burden our hearts for greater prayer as we stand in the gap for our missionaries, the people they love, and the more than 3,000 unreached, unengaged people groups of the world! And may we stand committed to be Great Commission believers. For His Glory!
