Hardwood Pathos: Ld, the Complicated Superstar Mr. Charles Eidson Flower

It's the saga of a pro basketball superstar, LD, and his young protege, Kile, on another team who takes up with a young coed, Ashley, in an interracial relationship, then takes up with her roommate, Abbey, after a tragic ending that's no fault of his own. LD had already joined Kile in his team for Cleveland that actually plays in the Akron suburb of Richfield after his first year with Ashley. The two eventually move on to LA after the death of their friend and player-coach Wally the fourth year where LD becomes involved in motion picture acting as well as with a blond ingenue of his own outside of his own marriage as Kile, LD, and Eric move toward yet another International Roundball Organizational championship in this parody of pro basketball, the media and current eventsas LD is pursued by the mob for previous sins while playing in Indiana and Michigan against his home fans.
