The Ruin: Rage is a re-release of Book One of The Ruin published in 2010 by Kenneth Fenter. The original edition encompassed five books covering a year in the life of Cliff Kelly. Because of it's length and complexity, the target audience has tended to shy away from it. This adaptation focuses on the first week the critical area of the book. The climax of the bullying during his time at East Lakeview grade school and the final act that drives him to make the decision of whether to face his tormentor with deadly force or to find another way to deal with it. Either decision will carry serious life changing consequences for him, his family, the bully and his family. This novel examines Cliff's decision and the turmoil that his decision causes the families on Summit Ridge Colorado. This new edition is re-designed with larger type for easier reading. It is aimed at the Middle school -high school -young adult audience although parents will learn about the dangers of bullying and consequences of long term bullying in schools whether at the hands of students or teachers.
