G. Terry Thomas generated over 100 songs over a forty year period. Many of the songs were written about his family, including songs about the relationship with his wife, children and grandchildren. Terry always enjoyed reading the books of poems that Shel Silverstein wrote, so Terry picked out twenty of his favorite family songs and decided to put them in a children's book of poems. Terry tried to put pictures in the book that he thought related to the songs / poems.
