This play is about all of us; we all share the traits of the Mermon?s and the Petersbilts. Therefore no one is immune in this play from my barbs, sarcasm, ironies and follies. AUTHOR?S NOTE I crafted the first draft of this play in 1999, after having seen yet another production of A Christmas Carol, a story of which I never grow tired. Yet I wondered why there were so few plays about the Christmas holidays. Never did I imagine that my idea would become a surreal journey of 11 years and 12 official revisions. Through this journey, the characters and story have essentially remained the same. Most importantly, the message has not changed.
