Edward Peple
Edward Henry Peple (1869-1924) was an American playwright. He trained and worked as an accountant, mainly with the American Bridge Company until 1902. In 1895, he moved to New York. His first play was A Broken Rosary. His play The Prince Chap opened in 1895 and ran for two seasons with Cyril Scott playing the lead. Amongst his other works are The Spitfire (1909), The Littlest Rebel (1914), A Pair of Sixes (1914), The Jury of Our Peers (1925) and The Girl (1926).
