Third book of the "Your time" trilogy takes place in the 1960-70s. The war and its cruel aftermath is far behind; perestroika, followed by violent regional conflicts and the end of the Soviet Union, is yet to come. Finally, the protagonist gets his chance to live his life in full - to live a normal life, not the one determined by historical twists and turns. The poetry and the beauty of the regular human existence, with its love, friendship, inspiration, loyalty, heartbreak, and some more love, becomes a subject of the "Never-Ending Thread". A fictionalized account of real-life events in the author's life, the book includes archival photos and historical commentary, in order to give a better feel of the time and place of the story.
