Black Cats Boxed Notecard Assortment

Myths and misconceptions surround the black cat but fear not! One needn’t beware it crossing one’s path nor heed whispered links to witchcraft, evil, or anarchy. Tis only a dominant feline gene that makes black the most common coat color for cats. Black cats have long fallen prey to superstition but are now feted with Black Cat Appreciation Days and considered more lucky charm than bad omen. Black mousers are thought to bring good luck aboard ships, and the Chief Mouser to His Majesty’s Treasury in the UK has furthered a positive perception on land. In a strange twist, some folks believe that finding a white hair on an all-black cat is tantamount to great good fortune, though we doubt the cat thinks highly of this.
