The world was still recovering from the invasion by an alien race that called themselves "The Souls". The recovery was going pretty well except for the revival of the ongoing struggle in the Middle East involving ISIS. Then a small group of American soldiers disappeared from a VA rehab facility where they had been recovering from wounds suffered in that struggle. They shouldn't have been out of coma. They were loose on the streets. No one could find them or explain their miraculous recovery. That is until the FBI called on the wizards of Hogwarts and James Wendt to help them find the missing soldiers. The search spanned the Middle East, Europe, England, South America, and the United States. The soldiers were on The Project. What its goal was no one - least of all them - knew.
