Thin Lizzy | Thin Lizzy (1971 Debut) - Deluxe Edition
New deluxe editions celebrating the 55th anniversary of Thin Lizzy's 1971 debut album, expanded with rarities, BBC Sessions and previously unreleased material, which has never been heard before.
"Thin Lizzy", Thin Lizzy's self-titled debut album, was released on April 30, 1971. The album was followed by the New Day EP, which was produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios and released in August of the same year. It was the band's first release with the original lineup consisting of Phil Lynott (bass and vocals), Eric Bell (guitar) and Brian Downey (drums). The album showcases a Thin Lizzy that poured everything into the music and dared to take chances – passionate, energetic and with a very special sound.
