For The Reader,
As you read this book, you will see how I struggled through half of my life with self-love and people pleasing. I had an addiction. Not a substance or alcohol addiction, my addiction was to ensuring others were happy before I was. I was addicted to not loving myself, and taking mental, physical and emotional abuse from people I loved. However, as you read further, you will see how I turned my addiction away from what no longer served me to what did serve me, myself. Not only did I start to focus on and love myself, but also I turned my passion for helping others into a business. 2020 was phenomenal in its ability to teach me that pain doesn't last forever and putting me first is the key to creating the life I always wanted and deserved.
Lastly, as you move freely through this book, be open and free with your own journey. When I started this book, it was solely intended to help you, the reader, develop the courage to go after your goals and live your dream on your terms. Although this is still my intent, the purpose for this guide has amplified into self-exploring and putting your best foot forward in healing and bettering yourself before you can be of service to someone else. Before you decide to serve others, you must first know what they're lacking. However, this cannot be done until we first search for what has been lacking in our own lives. So as you move along in your journey of self-healing, self-creating, and self-love, understand this, you have the power to create your own reality no matter what the circumstances are, but in order to do that, you must master who you are. Once that is done, you have become the best version of you, and no one can take that away.
