It is 1947 and Rob and Tuck are headed for trouble. The Family has seen this coming for a long time, but no one could have foreseen what they are actually up to, even while Rob's father prepares for a journey during which he will come face to face with more truth than he is prepared for. During the space of a few months, old memories will become present-day realities for Thao and for Kate, Kenna's odd little family will be threatened with separation, while Carrie's work at the law office will solve a series of mountain murders...almost. Sometimes boys have to be challenged to become men. It remains to be seen if Rob and Tuck will rise to the challenge or not.
